According to the company, from the beginning of April Autodesk and its partners will hold several free events covering the new 2011 product versions in Media & Entertainment. In Germany, Austria and Switzerland, interested visitors can learn about new features in Autodesk Maya, 3ds Max, Softimage, MotionBuilder and Mudbox.
According to the company, these solutions provide artists in the games and film industries with many creative tools that allow them to realise their ideas even better and more effectively. The Autodesk HumanIK 4.5 and Kynapse 7 middleware products, the standalone mental ray 2011 software, and Autodesk FBX for data exchange will also be presented.
“The M&E Live Days give participants an overview of the new functions in our solutions,” says Martina De Meo-Dautert, responsible for EMEA Country Marketing at Autodesk. “New features and workflows enable more efficient collaboration and give creativity greater scope.
