Before that, Bruhnke worked, among other roles, as editor-in-chief of the magazine “KEYS – Musik und Computer” (PPV MEDIEN GmbH) and as an editor at the magazine “MACup” (Neue Mediengesellschaft Ulm mbH). He succeeds Matthias J. Lange, who left the publication at the end of February for family reasons. DIGITAL PRODUCTION is published by the specialist publisher Reed Business Information.

“Taking over as editor-in-chief of DIGITAL PRODUCTION is an exciting challenge. DP offers a creative and fascinating range of topics in digital content creation. I am certain that the publishing house, the editorial team and I will successfully expand its core editorial strengths and that we will introduce many new impulses in this creative industry in the future,” Bruhnke said of his forthcoming role.

“With Jan-Christoph Bruhnke, we have appointed an industry expert who will successfully develop the magazine further,” explains Stephan Peter Krafzik, head of the technology publishing division at Reed Business Information. “DP is already the only magazine that covers every area of post-production and visualisation.”

After former editor-in-chief Matthias J. Lange left, Krafzik took over as acting editor-in-chief of DP. Lange will remain with the publishing house as an author and as programme manager for the animago AWARD & CONFERENCE industry event. Maik Euscher, who is responsible for sales activities at DIGITAL PRODUCTION, has been appointed animago project manager.
