The video shows a PC with an AMD E-350 APU clicking through several applications on the IE9 test page, including the “fish tank”. IE9 is now back at the level of browser development and has caught up enormously with Firefox and Chrome. The latest version is now faster on more complex websites such as Gmail, is intended to consume less energy (for mobile use or on a laptop), ad blockers are integrated, geolocation now works as well, and especially interesting is support for HTML 5 and WebM – the open-source video formta introduced by Google.
