NAB 2011: Panasonic Presents AG-3DP1

Panasonic presents the AG-3DP1 professional shoulder-mounted 3D camcorder at NAB.

The AG-3DP1 is equipped with 1/3-inch 3MOS image sensors with 2.2 megapixels. According to the company, recording takes place in AVC-Intra format on dual 64 GB P2 cards.

The 3DP1 offers frame rates of 1080/59.94i, 29.97pN, 50i and 25pN, as well as variable frame rates. The synchronised lenses feature a 17x zoom. Convergence can be adjusted by remote control, according to Panasonic. The AG-3DP1 features dual HS-SDI out, HDMI out, 2x XLR, Genlock and TC In/Out.

The camcorder is expected to be available in autumn; a price is not yet known.
