Real-time 3D streaming for capture and playback is intended to be available via Thunderbolt – anyone who does not yet use this has dual-link SDI inputs with up to 3 Gb/s SDI input, which means 10-bit video in SD or HD.
The "Ultrastudio3D" also outputs via dual-link SDI or HDMI 1.4a. Anyone who likes things classic also has the option of analog component/S-video and composite, analog audio, genlock, AES/EBU audio, RS-422 deck control and more. This means that, in principle, all media are available, from HDCAM-SR through HDCAM, D5 and Digital Betacam to DVCPRO HD.
Blackmagic Design gives the price as 1,000 dollars, and the Ultrastudio3d is intended to be available immediately.
