The new features of the current SAPs enable Active Shade support for the iray renderer with a fast feedback loop. The interactive rendering preview window is intended to support the workflow quickly and effectively.
In addition, there is a new render pass system intended to provide better scene segmentation for downstream compositing. The Advantage Package makes 3ds Max and 3ds Max Design capable of interacting with Adobe After Effects and Photoshop.
