The plug-in is intended to appear in the After Effects export menu and generate a Cinema 4D file containing 3D layers, cameras, lights, solid-color layers, null objects and reference material.
According to Maxon, nested compositions are also supported, as are all primary layer attributes and animation settings. Likewise, the render and document settings in Cinema 4D are intended to be transferred into the After Effects project settings.
The new plug-in is intended to complement the Cinema 4D plug-in for importing compositions perfectly. Data exchange between the two software packages is thus intended to be possible for both Windows and OS X.
