Another hot favourite was "La Luna" by Pixar, but last Sunday Moonbot Studios took home the Oscar with "The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore". Just like the evening’s big winner, "The Artist", this film is also reminiscent of silent-film times and old-school Hollywood films.
For the 15-minute film, William Joyce and Co-Director Brandon Oldenburg used miniatures as well as 3D and 2D animation. A game app for the film is likewise already available. Further information can be found here.
