The most important bug fixes include, among other things, that materials can now be imported into other materials and RT is not restarted when objects in the scene are selected. According to ChaosGroup, permissions have also been configured so that multiple users on one computer can now use V-Ray for Rhino. The basic material properties also received a correction. Transparency is set for base materials only if the final diffuse layer is also transparent.

Of course, several things were also improved compared with the previous version. Loading times for larger scenes are said to have been shortened, and the user interface was improved.

The free update can be downloaded through ChaosGroup’s official download area.
