The Vue software from e-on software is designed for creating digital nature and landscape images – the current update of the two tool alternatives Vue Infinite and Vue xStream is version 10.5. Vue Infinite is a standalone solution, while Vue xStream can be integrated into the workflow of Maya, 3ds Max, Cinema 4D, Softimage, and LightWave.
Vue 10.5 is now available in the fully functional PLE version with only a few workflow restrictions. With the PLE release, complete projects are intended to be creatable and exportable without size restrictions when rendering. During installation, the user can choose between Vue Infinite and Vue xStream, depending on requirements. Features of the Vue software include Directional Light Matching, Multiple Vue Camera Import, Spline Roll, and EcoSystem Stacking.
The tool’s only restrictions are that it may not be used for commercial purposes. For this reason, the network-rendering function is disabled and some renderings may contain watermarks or logos. Designed scenes are intended to be savable, but not exchangeable with other PLE users, and are not intended to be compatible with other versions of Vue.
The Vue 10.5 PLE software can be used without a time limit. It also includes a user manual in PDF form. The PLE tool is compatible with Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7 (32 and 64 bit) and Mac Intel (32 and 64 bit) for Mac OSX from version 10.5 upward. The download file is 611.4 MB in size.
