Motion Tools is a small collection of programs intended to support work on motion graphics in Softimage. The plug-in was developed by Gustavo Eggert Boehs, and according to the developer, Motion Tools 1.0 was built on top of Softimage’s ICE technology.

The tools are thus intended to offer many ICE components and partially abstract the ICE Tree process. Motion Tools 1.0 is intended to make it easier for Softimage users to create, animate, and simulate many objects or geometric units. Since it is based on Factory Nodes and standard workflows, according to Boehs, effects can be improved through use of the ICE function and receive a unique look.

The download for Softimage 2012 and 2013 can be found here. Some sample scenes for downloading can also be found there.
