Maya: Plug-in Optimizes paintFX

David Johnson’s djPFXUV plug-in for Maya performs automatic remapping of paintFX grasses and leaves. This makes it possible to achieve more color variations with only one texture.

Johnson’s plug-in hleps create more variations of leaves through automatic remapping of existing UV sets and as well as through assigning new textures. This is helpful when it comes to covering large areas with vegetation and you then realize afterward that all leaves look the same in terms of color. If you began preparing individual leaves in this way, you would be busy with it for a longer time. djPFXUV for Maya helps with this undertaking and handles this task fully automatically. With the newset update, Johnson additionally implemented a UI and support for grass.
