With Maxon Cineware, native Cinema 4D data can not only be imported into After Effects as assets via drag & drop, but can also be controlled in terms of layers and passes. Individual layers and objects can be selected and adjusted directly in the Cinema 4D scene, while final images or final passes can be rendered directly in After Effects. Data exchange formats such as Alembic, Collada, OBJ and FBX can be used without import limitations. In the current issue 03/2013, we already took a very close look at Maxon Cineware.
