According to Autodesk, Extension 1 for Smoke implements many user suggestions, and through a cooperation with Blackmagic it is intended to support some of Blackmagic’s I/O devices such as DeckLink, UltraStudio and the Intensity models. According to Autodesk, a new Trim View and new dynamic trimming tools have been added for faster editing.
The update is free for Autodesk subscribers. Here you can find all further information about Smoke 2013 and Extension 1, which is intended to be available for download at the end of May.
