This Games Special from July 4 to 6 shows how games and film influence and benefit from one another. National and international game developers and representatives of the games industry will present their projects.

Feature films and documentaries about games will also be shown for film fans, such as “War Games”,  “Minecraft: The Story Of Mojang” and “8 Bit”.

The programme also offers a masterclass on “Beyond: Two Souls” with Guillaume de Fondaumière of Quantic Dream (Thursday, 4.6., 3:30 p.m.), the workshop discussion “Metro”: Building an interactive fiction Universe with Dimitry Glukhovsky (Friday, 5.7., 2:00 p.m.), and the workshop discussion “Night of the Rabbit: Worlds and Stories: Places and Narration in Computer Games” with  Matthias Kempke of Deadalic Entertainment (Saturday, 6.7., 3:00 p.m.).

The programme overview is available here, and all films in the Games Special are presented here. Tickets can be purchased either at the box office or in the shop.
