Asset sharing made easy: the free app is available in the Windows Store and supports the following formats: .fbx, .3ds, .obj, .dxf, .dae, .bvh, .htr, .trc, .asf, .amc, .c3d, .aoa, .mcd. Users can, for example, zoom into a scene, rotate a character in a scene, and switch between camera and lighting settings as well as different shading modes. The viewport supports DirectX 11.
The app can show its capabilities particularly well on touch-based Windows devices, but a Windows 7 version is also available that uses the usual mouse and keyboard navigation.
