The Madrid-based company SGO presented the Mamba FX compositing software for the first time at IBC. The node-based tool is intended to cover all compositing levels—from small indie projects to large studio productions. According to the manufacturer, it runs in real time, is compatible with Windows and supports all common standard film and image formats.
With aggressive pricing of 239 euros, Mamba FX is intended to be accessible to many compositing artists. The software can currently be preordered, and the tool is expected to be released in its final version in the fall. With an online order, customers also receive access to tutorials and forum support.
