Grant Petty, CEO of BMD, posted a load of footage he shot himself with the BMD 4K camera on the forum last night. The camera used is approaching the production model, has shed the teething problems of the prototype presented and is in the final testing phase.
More test clips from professional filmmakers—with lens information and metadata—are to follow. For now, there are daylight and twilight shots, as well as a few shots in which Grant Petty provoked clipping (everything was shot in ProRes).
