The plug-in is free for Katana users who use the tool on Linux. It is compatible with RenderMan Pro Server 18 and Katana versions 1.5 and 1.6.
The RenderMan plug-in for Katana includes support for the RenderMan Pro Server 18 features Path Tracing, Geometric Area Lights, and improvements for interactive re-rendering. It also supports the Shader Suite, which can be used in both Katana and RenderMan Studio, as well as the Pixar Image Tool "It" as an alternative viewer in Katana.
