The suite includes calculators for determining crop factor, recording time depending on the storage medium and recording parameters, depth of field, exposure time, panning speed, and flicker-free recording. The appropriate values are preset for the various Red camera models such as the One, Epic, Dragon, or Scarlet.
The toolkit is designed for on-set applications and is suitable as a learning tool for camera enthusiasts. The Apple app is free, 6.3 MB in size, and compatible with iOS version 7.0 and later. It is optimized for the iPhone5.
