The additional displays that the Blackmagic Production Camera 4K receives through the update allow users to check important camera settings such as exposure, audio levels, and the remaining space on their storage media quickly and conveniently.
This update is being made available free of charge to owners of the Blackmagic Production Camera 4K. Users can download the update immediately and install it on their cameras via their Mac or Windows computer using a simple USB cable connection. Once installation of the update is complete, the new on-screen menus can be called up by swiping a finger upward from the lower area of the capacitive touchscreen.
The update makes no changes to the Blackmagic Cinema Camera, the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera, or the Blackmagic Studio Camera.
