Canadian investors are also involved in both new companies. Trixter expects the company’s international expansion to bring growth in the international market, which is to be supported by the optimal production conditions in Canada. According to Trixter Managing Director Michael Coldewey, discussions are currently under way about major projects that have made expansion into North America necessary.
Christian Sommer, also Managing Director at Trixter, stated that large international projects had in the past led to bottlenecks in the studio’s offering for the domestic market. With the newly structured group of companies, Trixter wants to compete more efficiently worldwide and offer employees more flexibility for domestic projects. Through the complementary studio to the Munich location, more international projects, an expansion of the Trixter Commercial department and a stronger focus on the German film and TV market are planned.
Anyone who would like to find out more about Trixter can find a portrait of the studio in DP issue 03/14.
