We have already presented the features of the high-end URSA film camera here.
Blackmagic Design first presented the URSA model at NAB 2014. The camera costs around 6,000 US dollars and can record 4K resolution.
DoP John Brawley from Australia was also among the first testers of the Cinema and Pocket cameras. To film the sunset scene, the cinematographer used the URSA’s high dynamic range as well as 4K at 60 frames per second to slow the footage down a little. The video was filmed over 90 minutes, filled three 128Gb SanDisk CFast 2.0 cards and all shots were filmed at ISO 400.
