Different tools handle motion-capture data differently, especially when it comes to reading and writing mocap formats such as .trc, .c3d and .cap. Even if the format can be read by the software, it often happens that the timecode is missing or there are other similar errors.
Through the MoCap Free Tool and its conversion, MoCap data is intended to be readable without problems in all software packages used in the post-production process – for example Motion Builder, Blade and Cortex.
Certain functionalities can also be added to the tool via batch operations.
The converting tool is available for download here as a .rar file. The file is 1.6 MB in size. Microsoft’s .NET Framework 4.5.1 is required to download the MoCap Free Tool.
The current Motion Capture Free Tool 0.0.4.2b is the alpha version, and Take One welcomes feedback on the further development of the tool. You can submit feedback at support@mocap.me.
