Stingray is based on the core of the Bitsquid engine. Autodesk acquired the Swedish company last year.
Autodesk presented its first game engine for the first time on March 3 at the Game Developers Conference, which took place from March 2 to 6 at the Moscone Convention Center in San Francisco. The engine is intended to keep pace with the performance of Unreal and Unity, and according to Autodesk, it can be used to create game content for a wide range of platforms.
