The “Be inspired” competition was launched by Avid for the first time in 2015. Students were to edit a two-minuter with Media Composer.
First place went to Nicola Matiwone from Bournemouth University in Great Britain with the docuemntary film “Rita: My Inspiration”.
Second place went to Kathrin Unger from Germany with her film “A burning Passion”; third place went to “Be inspired” by Ruben Fernanez Martinez from Spain.
All winners can look forward to attractive prizes, including a mentor day with a well-known editor, a one-year subscription to the “Inside the Edit” courses and Media Composer software.

Anyone who would also like to win in the anmation and VFX field: entries can already be submitted for this year’s animago AWARD ! It is the event’s 20th birthday as well as the first one to take place in Munich.
