Meshmixer Version 3

Autodesk’s free Meshmixer modifies 3D models and creates new objects from mesh data. V3 can now print different materials.

Thanks to the new feature, different subsets of mesh points can be grouped into collections, called Complexes in Meshmixer, to which different materials can then be assigned.

Also new: an Unwrap tool for smoothing surface patches, the Units/Dimensions tool for real-world scales, and export support for the SMesh format.

You can download Autodesk Meshmixer free of charge here. It is compatible with Windows, OS X and Linux.
