Valve has released the SteamVR Performance Test. Using excerpts from the Aperture Robot Repair VR demo, the benchmark checks whether a system is fast enough for HTC’s Vive or Oculus VR’s Rift, including the two tracking controllers and the Lighthouse system. It is based on the Source 2 engine under Direct3D 11. A VR headset is not required for the test, but the Steam client must be installed on the system.
