The macros can be used to prepare prerendered content—either for a fulldome theatre or for head-mounted displays such as Oculus Rift, Samsung Gear VR, HTC VIVE, OSVR or Google Cardboard.
The node-based macros can be used to convert stereoscopic images into LatLong, Angular and Domemaster projections. Cube-shaped panoramic images with up to 6 sides are also possible. 27 compositing examples show how to get the best from the Fusion macros.
The toolset is intended to improve VR production and give freelancers and indie studios the opportunity to keep up with the big players.
Domemaster Fusion Macros version 2.0 is now available to download. Price: USD 249 for the single licence. The upgrade for users of version 1.0 costs USD 99.
