The current Zeiss light, electron and X-ray microscopes can display objects non-destructively and at high resolution, resulting in very storage-intensive image files ranging from gigabytes to terabytes in size. The software from Arivis AG makes it possible to process these large image files and visualise them as volumes or segmented surfaces with 3D data glasses.
