“The Magnificent Seven”: Breakdowns by Zero

Audiences are tired of remakes: despite its star-studded cast, the 2016 version of the cult film “The Magnificent Seven” was unable to attract all that many viewers to cinemas. But, as always, worth seeing: the VFX effects for such an imposing Western spectacle.

Zero VFX, the studio specialising in invisible effects, worked its magic to transform the swamps of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, into the dry landscapes of Sante Fe, Texas. In addition, the VFX team created CG blood splatters, bullet impacts, explosions, and more that lead to the deaths of more than 250 CG characters in the film.
