After we recently presented the free Exr-IO plug-in for Photoshop, another tool has recently become available for you: the company fnord has now also released its ProEXR plug-in free of charge.

ProEXR – the OpenEXR plug-in

The plug-in primarily gives you OpenEXR support for Photoshop. This allows you to open and save files in this format. With 32-bit and 16-bit support as well as multi-channel support, you can use all the advantages of the format in Photoshop. ProEXR can also be used as a plug-in for Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro. In addition, it comes with presets for EXR project setups for After Effects and Nuke.
