With the Houdini Engine, you can load and use digital assets from Houdini in other software such as Autodesk Maya, Cinema 4D or Unity. The pricing model for studio licenses has now been adjusted accordingly. Instead of the equivalent of 182 euros per month, you now pay only 93 euros per month. A weekly rental option has also been added, priced at 33 euros. In addition, SideFX has automatically converted all floating licenses to “Global Access” licenses. This now allows them to use the engine across multiple locations via the cloud as standard. For everyone who uses Houdini Indie, the Houdini Engine is already available free of charge.
