Cineware for Illustrator makes it possible to import any C4D scenes – and in Illustrator, the camera, lighting, objects and materials can then be edited directly.
There is no longer anything standing in the way of using existing 3D assets in a 2D environment as well – visualising packaging designs directly, for example. If assets are not created in C4D itself, they can be downloaded directly via TurboSquid – the collection should be sufficient for every need.

Features
Objects: Objects from any Cinema 4D scene can be moved, rotated and scaled as well as shown and hidden – directly in Illustrator CC.
Materials: The colour, reflection, luminance, transparency and surface properties of 3D objects can be adjusted and changed in Illustrator. Custom 2D layouts, such as labels or packaging designs, can be placed directly on the 3D models.
Cameras: Users can switch between a scene’s preset cameras or define their own camera position.
Lighting: Light sources can be switched on and off, and their intensity and colour can also be adjusted.
Integration: Automatically generated alpha channels allow 3D objects to be isolated and integrated into existing 2D layouts.
Purchase, Price and Upgrade
Cineware for Illustrator is available as a free plug-in for macOS and Windows 10 on the Maxon website. For Illustrator CC users who want to use the advanced possibilities for creating 3D content in Cinema 4D, Maxon offers upgrade options to a full version.
