The Visual Effects Society (VES) has presented VES Awards in several categories every year since 2002. You can see this year’s winners here. Alongside the new VES section in Germany since the beginning of the year, VES recently also published a montage of the 70 most influential VFX films.
Deadline for the VES Awards 2018
Since November 6, you have already been able to submit your project here. For a valid submission, you must meet different requirements depending on the category, all of which you can read here. Among other things, there is a fee equivalent to 336 euros per submitted entry. For the “Outstanding Visual Effects in a Student Project” category, participants pay 21 euros to submit their project.
The submission deadline for the 16th VES Awards is November 30, 2017
