Avid may have taken its time to attend to and refresh its faithful Media Composer. But now there is a more modern design and a new “live timeline,” which allows users to play a clip and take care of other things at the same time.
In addition, the software can now handle, among other things, 4 real-time UDH streams up to 8K. Group updating is also now possible, allowing a camera to be added to a Muli-Cam group even after it has already been created.
