With its new version 4.2 for Terragen, Planetside Software has primarily focused on reducing render times. These are supposedly shortened considerably with the update (4 times as fast, it is said), and in addition the renders created in Terragen can now also be used as projected textures for exported geometry.
The update is free for all existing users.
Anyone who wants to purchase a new licence for Terragen 4 Professional will have to shell out $699.
