The animated film “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse” famously cleaned up at the 2019 Oscars . Until now, Sony Pictures Imageworks had provided only brief insights into the film’s production: so far there were only behind-the-scenes looks at the line drawings of character facial expressions, as well as the various animation styles, which you can also watch below. The studio has now released a new clip showing the processes used to create the city of New York. Among other things, with tools in Nuke for reproducing the various comic looks, individual layouts for specific shots and more!
