Foundry has released the next update to its lookdev tool. Among other things, Katana 3.2 brings an improved material UX, 3Delight and USD updates.
Katana 3.2 highlights
Improved Material Node Graph System brings a new UI with a “left to right” workflow. The new interface also includes new shading groups, among other things, and is intended to help maintain an overview with both large and small numbers of nodes.

3Delight NSI 1.5 updates: New workflow that can render multiple cameras simultaneously in just a few clicks. Subsurface scattering now also uses the random walk method.

Upgrade for Hydra: Katana’s 3.2 viewport with Hydra receives an update to USD version 19.05. Along with corrections and improvements to the USD libraries, this makes it possible to use the render-delegate system.
