Red Giant scheduled a weekly webinar series for VFX, motion graphics and post-production. The Monday sessions ran from 18:00 to 19:00 and were recorded for later viewing.
May: motion graphics and effects
The May programme covered fire, sparks, dust and smoke; OBJ and Cinema 4D workflows in Trapcode Suite; audio-driven particle animation; and the design of FUI and stylised elements.
June: 3D production
June moved through modelling with primitives, generators, splines and deformers, then textures, materials, lighting and rendering. The final session addressed compositing 3D renders in After Effects.
July: colour correction and grading
The July sessions covered shot balancing and colour matching, secondary corrections, video-noise removal, cinematic treatments and the design of creative looks and grades.
