The Grove 10
Wybren Van Keulen released version 10 of The Grove, a Blender-based tool for generating botanically and biologically plausible trees. The update redesigned the interface and introduced radial widgets for faster parameter access. Branches could also be sketched directly into the viewport, giving artists more immediate control over a tree’s structure.
The Grove runs inside Blender, but its textured geometry can be exported as FBX or OBJ for use in other applications. Version 10 expanded the growth and wind systems and added Alembic export, opening a more direct route into animation and simulation pipelines.
