A first for Lucerne
“Sweet Nothing”, a four-minute animated erotic comedy by Joana Fischer and Marie-Christine Kenov, was selected for the international short-film competition at the 2022 Sundance Film Festival. It was the first production from Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts to screen at the festival.
The film was created as the directors’ bachelor project in Animation at the Department of Design and Art. It mixes humour with erotic suggestion rather than explicit detail.
A disrupted summer afternoon
Rosa is sunbathing in her garden when a lawnmower breaks the quiet. Watching the gardener in the neighbouring plot handle the flowers sends her imagination in an increasingly ecstatic direction.
The festival was scheduled for 20 to 30 January 2022 in Park City, Utah. Verify current availability and screening information before programming or licensing the film.
