UV Morpher | Plugin

(Not) in the eye of the beholder: With this plugin you can deform objects in 3ds Max – without unsightly deformations.

In nuce: CG generalist Hamid Memar releases a plugin for 3ds Max called “UV Morpher”.

What can UV Morpher do? The plugin is designed to significantly simplify your UV workflow by allowing you to easily deform objects without affecting the associated UV. A case study: You lower your character’s eyelid and the surface becomes unnaturally distorted. With “UV Morpher” in use, the same eyelid deforms more naturally and no longer looks distorted. See also the picture above.

What is behind UV Morpher? Hemar created the plugin with C. It supports multithreading and is freely available to all non-commercial projects.
