In nuce : As a follow-up to this year’s Siggraph, where Maxon was present with its The 3D and Motion Design Show, the associated live recordings have now been released as YouTube videos – with Joey Camacho among the prominent personnel. The almost forty-minute workshop with Joey (see the video below) centres on his involvement with the Pixel Vault development group, which Joey has helped to expand its portfolio beyond crypto assets during the pandemic. The workshop will primarily utilise Cinema 4D and Redshift.
Who is Joey Camacho? Joey specialises in the visualisation of technical processes, with a focus on texturing, particles, colour design and lighting. His favourite software solutions include Cinema 4D. In the introduction to his workshop, Joey tells the audience that as an artist he sets out to create work that is not only beautiful to look at, but that also says something. Over the course of his career, Joey has worked with a wide variety of brands, agencies and studios – including: the streaming series Star Trek: Picard, key visuals for Cinema 4D R20 and the sporting goods manufacturer Under Armour.
