For those who don’t know the series: Free mocap pack 04: Crowd Reactions is a Gumroad motion capture asset pack for games, cinematics, 3D and VFX. It includes skeletons for Rokoko Default, iClone, and Unreal Engine 5.
Crowd noise, minus the extras
Anderson Rohr has released the June entry in his monthly free motion capture pack series. The new pack contains 22 crowd reaction animations and runs 5 minutes 55 seconds, roughly six minutes total. That is the useful kind of background movement: clapping, cheering, swaying, phone use, cup handling, idle business, and small reaction beats. Not a hero performance library. More a quick way to make a digital audience look less like mannequins waiting for a render farm to finish.
Skeletons, not slogans
The pack supports three skeleton targets: Rokoko Default, Reallusion iClone, and Manny for Unreal Engine 5. That gives artists a starting point for those rigs, while retargetnig quality still belongs in the usual test scene, not in a wishful production schedule.
For animation teams, the practical value sits in coverage rather than novelty. Crowd shots often need small, believable differences across background characters. A cheering pose here, a phone clip there, one person nodding with a cup, another clapping twice with a hand up. Tiny motions are still motions, and cloned idles still smell cloned.

The clips cover Sitting Clapping, Standing Clapping, Clapping Hands Up, Clapping And Agree, Fist Up Cheering, Swaying Arms, Hands Up Swaying, Hands Up Looking Up, Peace Sign Pose, Hang Loose Pose, Rock On Pose, Standing Selfie, Sitting Phone Video, Head Dancing, Clap Twice Hand Up, Scratch Neck, Pointing Up Cheering, Standing Texting, Sitting Texting And Video, Standing Drinking, Holding Cup Nodding, and Pointing And Laughing. All you need to fake your political rally or boring overpriced sports event.
For game animation and previs blocking, that list is the usual crowd: celebration, boredom management, phones, drinks, and someone doing something vaguely enthusiastic with both arms.
Price and caveats
Pricing uses a pay what you want model through Gumroad. Entering 0 downloads the pack for free, and paying a chosen amount supports the artist. No fixed paid tier is specified. But, to be honest, support Anderson, he’s doing excellent work, and has an excellent editorial dog!
