Media 100 Inc. introduces Media 100 CineStream (formerly EditDV), a software-based streaming media production solution for web developers and professional content creators. With the introduction of CineStream, Media 100 enables a broader group of users to develop and deliver the highest quality interactive streaming media content for the web or DVD for the first time. CineStream has been developed according to Media 100’s streaming media workflow model, which allows video films to be created specifically for the interactive nature of the Internet. It replaces complicated streaming technologies with software-based solutions to serve the rapidly growing streaming media market.
“Media 100 CineStream represents an important development for the Internet community. Finally, there is a software tool that enables elegant and sophisticated development of dynamic and highly interactive streaming video content for the web,” said Stephen Manousos, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Media 100. “We believe that web developers, web agencies and professional content creators want the same capabilities that the major internet news services and media moguls already have today, and we offer those capabilities in a complete solution that these new creators can operate on the web at their computer. We accompany them with a single solution – CineStream – from the camera directly to the interactive web.”
