Pinnacle Systems released Pro-ONE RTDV as the successor to the Pro-ONE real-time DV editing system with digital and analogue I/O.
New functions included real-time DV output, hardware-accelerated turboMPEG export and MPEG re-import, allowing DVD projects to be revised without a complete new render.
Additional real-time tools included image stabilisation, lens-flare effects and a motion tracker that attached effects to moving objects—for example, following a face with a privacy bar.
The package included Adobe Premiere 6.5. Existing Pinnacle products based on Premiere 6.0 were certified for 6.5, and purchases within the specified 2002 promotion period qualified for a free upgrade through participating dealers.
