Maxon and TurboSquid partnered to make it easier for Cinema 4D users to buy, sell and exchange 3D models online.
The marketplace accepted models in native C4D format. Maxon Product Manager Marco Tillmann said sellers had control over pricing and received a comparatively high share of revenue, while buyers benefited from a broad range of inexpensive assets.
Direct access to the marketplace was planned for a future generation of Cinema 4D, although no release date had been announced.
