PNY Announces Availability of the PNY Quadro FX 3000 Series with Genlock, Framelock and Single System Powerwall

PNY Technologies GmbH – the German branch of the US company of the same name delivers, with the PNY Quadro FX Series, the most performant graphics memory currently available for professional workstation graphics cards. PNY’s Quadro FX 3000 and Quadro FX 3000G, based on NVIDIA’s new Quadro GPUs, increase overall performance through 27.2 GB/second memory bandwidth and through Powerwall capabilities. Genlock and Framelock functions provide the industry’s highest resolution. The PNY Quadro FX 3000 series will be presented on the occasion of this year’s Siggraph in San Diego from July 29- 31 at PNY’s booth, booth number 2522.

PNY Quadro FX 3000 Series

PNY Quadro FX is PNY’s first graphics board that has both Framelock and Genlock functionalities. Framelock enables professional users to join multiple systems together in a cluster in order to depict representations in a life-size environment. Using Genlock, graphics can be synchronized with other media such as audio and video streams for compositing and editing. These functions are unique to the PNY Quadro FX 3000G. Another function that distinguishes both the PNY Quadro FX 3000 and the Quadro FX 3000G is the use of a Single-System Dual-Channel Powerwall. Any individual application can thus be projected onto a large surface, with Edge Blending to achieve uniform luminosity.

• PNYQuadro FX 3000: 256MB high-speed memory and NVIDIA’s patented Single-System-Powerwall technology enable the NVIDIA Quadro FX 3000 to visualize texture-rich models at the highest resolution with Full Scene Antialiasing. As standard, the board is supplied with a Dual DVI (1 Dual Link TMDs Display), a BNC (Genlock), two RJ45 (Framelock) and a Workstation Stereo interface. (RRP 2,650.- euros including VAT)
• PNY Quadro FX 3000G: has all the functionalities of the NVIDIA Quadro FX 3000 GPU. In addition, the unique Genlock functions enable the synchronization of standard graphics with standard video formats and house-sync signals for video postprocessing and editing. The PNY Quadro FX 3000G also synchronizes the output of multiple systems for clustered applications. As standard, the board comes with a Dual DVI (1 Dual Link TMDs Display), a BNC (Genlock), two RJ45 (Framelock) and a Workstation Stereo interface. (RRP 3,500.- euros including VAT)
