The interface of the Nucoda digital intermediate solution has been completely reworked in version 3.0, which is intended to bring an even faster workflow. The new systems will be equipped with 4 dual-core processors, which together with the revised software enables work up to ten times faster, Digital Vision promises. However, Nucoda 3.0 is only now entering beta testing with selected beta testers. The finished version would be “few Available,” the company explains.
In addition, Digital Vision announced a 2K version of the DVNR Image Processing System that will ship from the beginning of 2006. It is intended to color-correct uncompressed footage and remove interference almost in real time (15 fps). The tool removes grain, corrects color and brightness fluctuations in faulty film material and is thus also ideal as a processor for MPEG encoding.
